As a huge MTM fan, I felt like I had to try the best seller shorts that started it all for the brand. Overall, this is another excellent piece. The quality is outstanding, and this model probably captures the classic 70s retro aesthetic better than any other shorts in the collection. It definitely elevates an outfit and has a unique vintage feel. That being said, I personally have a slight preference for natural cotton fabrics. I simply feel more comfortable and more like myself wearing them. Because of that, I still prefer the cotton version with the same design. So I'm not sure this will be the pair I wear the most, but it definitely deserves a place in my wardrobe. If you're looking for that authentic retro 70s vibe, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Let’s go straight to the point: this is the best running short I have ever owned. The photo has been taken just before my usual Saturday morning run. I have always had a bodybuilder-type physique, but in my early thirties I was also combining bodybuilding and a lot of running. I eventually trained for and completed a marathon, so I know exactly how difficult it is to find the right running shorts when you have a muscular build. Most running shorts are simply not made for this type of physique. They are either too long, too short, too loose around the waist, or they don’t fit properly around bigger thighs. This short completely solves that problem. I have tested it in different situations: casual wear, weight training, and now running. It performs perfectly in every situation. The length is spot on, my thighs fit perfectly, the waistband stays secure, and I had absolutely no irritation or chafing. Honestly, I wish I had this short when I was training for my marathon. The only thing I still need to test is using it at the beach — unfortunately I don’t have a beach in Paris, so that will have to wait until my next holiday! The quality is excellent, and I can already see myself buying another one if I keep using it for running, training, casual wear and the beach. It’s going to get a lot of use! I would also love to see this model released in more colours, especially black. A black version would be amazing. Another incredible piece from MTM. Keep doing what you’re doing!
